An Audience with Caspar Berry

This February, the Alchemists Forum is proud to present ‘An audience with Caspar Berry’.

As part of our upcoming Alchemists Experience Day which will take place on Tuesday 6th February, motivational and keynote business speaker Caspar Berry will ‘take to the stage’ for our morning speaker session.

Caspar Berry is a motivational and keynote business speaker specialising in the subjects of risk, decision making, innovation and leadership. He began his working life at the age of 16 as an actor in the first two series of BBC drama Byker Grove and then went on to study economics at Cambridge where he had early commercial success directing award-winning short files and TV commercials from the age of 18. Before graduating from Cambridge, Caspar wrote two feature films which were subsequently produced by Film Four and Columbia TriStar.

Having studied economics at Cambridge, he decided to put what he had learnt there into practice in a rather unique way by moving to Las Vegas and becoming a professional poker player. He played poker for much of the next three years in Las Vegas before finding himself as the poker advisor on the old James Bond Movie Casino Royale - which in turn propelled him into the world of speaking.

Caspar has become a veteran of public speaking and in the last 14 years Caspar has delivered over 2,000 speeches and training sessions in more than 30 countries for nearly 500 organisations including the biggest companies in the world including Visa, Google, McDonalds and IBM.

Caspar now mentor's young speakers and brings together all the otherwise disparate skills he’s learnt over his career – writing, directing, training, economics – to help young speakers craft messages culled from their own life that are focused on helping people and businesses make profound changes in all manner of ways.

In his experiential session with the member of the Alchemists Forum, Caspar will harness his unique experiences to deliver challenging messages about risk-taking and decision-making and how these can help to maximize returns in an increasingly uncertain world.
