Watching my children grow has made me realise that I still want to go fast but I also want my businesses and myself to go far so I can continue to provide for my family and local community. Having the support and wisdom of other entrepreneurs and business leaders has helped me filter business decisions that will ensure the businesses go far, they are a great sounding board with a wealth of experience to draw from. Alan’s coaching and prodding helped form an idea that led me to start my 3rd business in 2023, his advice and expertise is priceless. Taking time out from the day to day running of a business is invaluable time to help me grow as a leader so even though I may not see a half day away each month as being the best use of my time, it is actually the half day that I need the most as it allows me to return to my businesses with greater clarity.
